Does anyone know the specific Swiss electrical regulation that limits this unit to just one of the AC outlets. Any info or pointers would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Hi
The other three plugs are only blocked with a plastic part which can be easily removed.
I think it has something to do with the fact that in Switzerland the cross-section of the internal cables has to be adapted to the plug(s). Since a german plug can handle about 3.6kW, the internal cables should be adapted to this power x4. Since this was certainly not done, only 1 plug can be used in Switzerland. However, it should not be a problem to use all of them as the bluetti can only supply 2.2kW permanently.
It could also be a regulation because of the protective earth conductor since the bluetti has no real earth.
If you want to install the bluetti in a caravan, make sure that you connect the neutral conductor of the bluetti to the housing.
I'm not a professional and these are just guesses. if you really want answers to these questions, you'll have to ask an electrician.
