Question about Fluke 62 MAX PLUS Infrared Thermometer

It can measure skin surface temperature without any problem. However, if the goal is to detect fevers - this is not a medical device. As far as I know, most medical thermoters based on skin temperature do make some corrections to estimate actual body temperature - something that this device does not do at all.
