Can these things also be switched on/off via a URL or only via the app? Do they have a web interface?

Only via the app/cloud. Access via the IP address reports error: Page cannot be opened. So no web interface.

If you integrate them via Home Assistant (smart life or tuya), you can set up webhooks with which you can then control them via a URL. However, this also runs via the cloud.
