TP-Link Tapo P115 (1-pack)

Question about TP-Link Tapo P115 (1-pack)

Attention these plugs do not work in Switzerland Unfortunately, I have just received a 16 port switch and WLAN plug switch in the last 2 weeks that do not work at all in Switzerland. Galaxus or Digitec are selling more and more products in Switzerland that do not come with an adapter and therefore do not work in Switzerland. Absolute no-go. In addition, even the employee at Digitec agrees with me that with the supply from Germany and many orders from visitors from abroad, Swiss plugs are not always in demand. In my opinion, Digitec & Galaxus have to declare this clearly and distinctly in the product description. However, this is not the case

There are clear and unambiguous laws and regulations on the subject of plugs.

The fact that the above-mentioned wifi plug with fixed adapter still only has a Schuko socket and is therefore not usable for most devices does not make it any better or usable without restrictions. Digitec is simply happy to be able to offer as many products as possible.

Digitec (or any other Swiss retailer) is obliged to supply electrical appliances with a Swiss plug. If the appliance comes with a foreign plug, a suitable replacement cable should be supplied if the mains cable is pluggable or alternatively if the mains cable is permanently connected, a suitable adapter should be supplied.

If the appliance is delivered without a suitable plug, complain to the customer service and insist on a cable or an adapter, free of charge.

Works perfectly, with adapter of course. The picture clearly shows that it is a Schuko plug. Works perfectly with adapter. Also perfect in Home Assistant for controlling and measuring a washing machine, for example.

Instead of such Schuko solutions, I would recommend the Hombli WLAN sockets, which can also precisely measure the power consumption of connected devices and also allow extensive programming in 1 minute intervals. You don't need fixed adapters and stuff like that, they have CH socket-compatible plugs.
