The IS 140-2 is considered a classic among infrared motion detectors. STEINEL has now enhanced this classic with even more features. With larger adjustable angles both horizontally and vertically for targeted detection around the house at a detection angle of 140°, increased range (up to 14 m), and more detection levels, the IS 140-2 allows for more comprehensive monitoring. The optical system is equipped with precise, spherical Fresnel lenses that enable more accurate person detection and consistently high range.
Adjustment options: Exact customization of the detection area through the horizontally adjustable optical system (90°) and vertically adjustable (180°). Additionally, the detection area can be limited using the included cover plates. The IS 140-2 features simple adjustment of time and twilight threshold via a rotary knob located at the bottom of the sensor lens. Thanks to the spacious, clearly laid out connection area, the infrared motion detector IS 140-2 can be wired easily and quickly, and mounted on a wall or corner – the suitable corner wall bracket is available as an accessory.
