The TECTON wireless sensor from Zumtobel is an advanced motion detector equipped with an integrated basicDIM Wireless (Bluetooth CASAMBI) radio module. This module enables precise motion detection as well as ambient light measurement, making it ideal for industrial and logistical applications. The sensor utilizes PIR technology and offers light measurement from 5 to 2000 lx, which can be reduced to a minimum value of 0.5 lx. With an IP54 protection rating, the TECTON is suitable for use in demanding environments. Installation is tool-free on the mounting rail, significantly simplifying assembly and commissioning. The sensor is optimized for heights of up to 16 m and provides a detection radius of up to 14 m, ensuring comprehensive coverage. The corrosion-protected mounting rail adapter made of hot-dip galvanized steel sheet ensures durability and reliability.
