Product details

Those who prefer a slightly larger knife will love the Expandable from ZA-PAS. It is the big brother of the Ultra Outdoor and is excellent as a bushcraft, survival, and forest knife.

The massive full-tang blade is made from NMV O2 carbon steel with a thickness of 4.4 mm. The blades are hardened to a level of 58 - 59 HRC, providing a compromise between high impact resistance and good sharpness. The surface of the blade has been treated with an acid-stonewash process. This coating does not offer 100% protection against rust but is ideal for those who use their knife "hard." The handle is made of either G10 or Micarta, providing good grip in the hand. The handle pieces are secured with black screws.

The sheath is made of ABS and features a belt loop, and can be connected using the PALS system. The holes on the sheath are positioned to allow for the attachment of a Tek-Lok holder.

ZA-PAS is a small Polish knife manufacturer that handcrafts its knives with a small team. All knives are fully made in Poland; they do not use external service providers and source all materials and semi-finished products from Polish suppliers.
