A leveling system is the optimal solution for laying tiles evenly and avoiding unevenness. The XPOtool tile leveling system set includes appropriate pull tabs and mounting wedges.
First, the pull tabs are placed in the joint. Once the adjacent tile is laid, the wedges are pushed through the tabs until both tiles reach the same height level.
After the tile adhesive has cured, the wedges can be pulled out of the tabs and are reusable. The pull tabs, on the other hand, have predetermined breaking points where the visible part of the tab can be snapped off. The lower part remains between the laid tiles, making it invisible after grouting.
The width of a joint depends on the material thickness of the pull tab. For example, a tab with a thickness of 1.0 mm creates a joint that is also 1.0 mm wide. To allow for tiling in larger areas, the XPOtool tile leveling system set includes sufficient pull tabs. The tabs are suitable for tiles with thicknesses ranging from 3 to 12 mm.
