This inverter welding machine operates completely without gas, making it ideal for flux-cored wire welding. Thanks to its user-friendly design, it is particularly well-suited for hobbyists and DIY enthusiasts. In flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), unlike MIG/MAG welding, a solid wire electrode is not used; instead, a flux-filled wire electrode is employed. Since flux-cored welding machines do not have a gas connection, self-shielding flux wire must be used. This wire contains not only flux and arc stabilizers but also gas-generating substances. When the arc is ignited, the flux-cored electrode melts, and the gas formers produce a protective gas shield that protects the molten weld seam from atmospheric influences. This means that no additional shielding gas from a gas cylinder is required. As a result, the welding machine is not only ideal for outdoor use but also particularly portable and flexible. With the carrying strap, it can be transported and carried even more easily. The welding method used primarily depends on the material and the sheet thickness (0.5-5 mm). To adjust the appropriate welding current, the synergistic welding machine is equipped with a practical rotary knob. The wire feed is suitable for welding and flux wire with a thickness of 0.8-0.9 mm (0.5-1 kg). State-of-the-art IGBT technology ensures a stable arc and efficient duty cycle. For safety, the device is equipped with overheating and overload protection. Flux-cored arc welding is suitable for most structural steels, carbon and stainless steels, as well as cast iron. This method has proven particularly effective for joining thicker workpieces. Flux-cored welding also produces extremely durable and fine weld seams.
