The VLC 800 vinyl and laminate cutter is a versatile and powerful tool for all handymen and DIY enthusiasts who frequently have to tackle extensive installation work. With this all-rounder, you can not only cut all commercially available laminate planks up to a thickness of 11 mm and a width of 465 mm, but also the extremely popular floorboards made of extremely hard-wearing vinyl. It is suitable for all commercially available vinyl and design floors from 2 to a maximum of 11 mm. You can cut planks made of solid vinyl or with HDF underlay with footfall sound insulation with ease using the VLC 800. To cut thin vinyl material of 2-5 mm, simply narrow the cutting gap using the adjustable cutting bars. You can even process adhesive vinyl with ease thanks to the specially coated blade. Noiseless, current-free and without any dust generation. The high-quality laser-cut, smooth blade not only makes cutting laminate safer, but also guarantees you precise, clean cutting edges. The blade geometry, which maximises the efficiency of the angle between the blade and cutting gap, plays a key role in this. The VLC 800 also has a hold-down device on the cutting lever, which presses the plank firmly onto the integrated toothed cutting bars during cutting and prevents the plank from slipping or jamming against the blade. This is a great help, especially for free angle cuts from 0-180° without a stop or for continuous lengthwise cuts. There is a suitable stop on the side of the aluminium profile for producing 55 mm narrow vinyl strips that can be inserted into special skirting boards. In this way, you can produce skirting boards in the matching decor to the floor covering in no time at all.
