The step drill is the right accessory and spare part for the Undercover Jig Set for making concealed wood screw connections. The tip of the drill bit is used to pre-drill a small guide hole for the screw thread, while the second stage of the drill bit pre-drills a larger hole for the screw head in the wood. The enclosed depth stop allows you to optimally control the drilling depth.
