Product details
Burnt Sienna is a rich brown pigment made by burning raw sienna. Named after Siena in Italy, where the pigment was sourced during the Renaissance, it is a transparent pigment with red-brown tones.
Beautiful colors containing fine art pigments offer dependable quality. Ideal for those using large volumes of paint, it is available in 55 colors. For best results, try with Winton Oil Colour pads and brushes.
Bright, beautiful and affordable, these colors are perfect for artists who need large quantities of color and for first-time artists learning the fundamentals of oil painting. All 55 tones have been carefully made to bring out the best of each pigment, allowing you to create bold and vibrant artworks. The formulation, manufacture, and quality control of Winton Oil Colour ensure a product with dependable working properties.
Winton Oil Colour's pigment load is higher than many artists’ ranges, making it exceptional for general use and ideal for working in large volumes at the highest level.
The Winton range has a more uniform consistency than Artists' Oil Colour and is a slightly stiffer paint. It offers excellent retention of brush and palette knife strokes.
Wherever possible, the most permanent pigments have been selected for use with the Winton range. The formulation and manufacturing process ensure that the product will remain stable within the tube and offer the most permanent paint film possible.
