Product details
Sap Green Permanent is a rich mid-range green with a yellow undertone. Originally, Sap Green was a lake pigment made from unripe buckthorn berries.
Our Professional Watercolour is still formulated according to our founding principles: to create unparalleled colours that offer artists the widest and most balanced choice of pigments, just as it was in 1835 when William Winsor and Henry Newton introduced the first moist watercolours to the world.
Our range uses only the finest pigments, which is why they are known for their brilliance, permanence, and strength of colour. With 79 single pigment colours, we offer the widest range of modern and traditional pigments.
Formulated using the highest quality methods to achieve optimal pigment dispersion, our unrivalled transparency means every wash will remain vibrant and luminescent.
104 out of 108 colours in the Professional Watercolour range are rated AA or A for permanence, ensuring that the colours used today will appear the same for generations to come.
Many artists prize granulation to achieve texture on paper. Explore some of our beautiful granulating colours to create your palette and learn more about minimising and maximising this effect.
Our Professional Watercolour range offers more than 30 granular single-pigment colours that are lightfast and permanent. Try some of these colours; tint and tone and mix them to make exceptional super granular colours.
