Easy detection of underground mole and vole tunnels
When a garden is inhabited by moles and voles, it can be quite frustrating. Fortunately, with Windhager traps, molehills and chewed roots will soon be a thing of the past. Finding underground tunnels to set the traps can be quite challenging without the right tools. The combination of marking flags and the separately available probe and auger set makes locating tunnels a breeze. Additionally, the practical marking flags can also be used for other purposes, such as marking water sprinklers or connections.
Here's how it works
With the Windhager probe VOLE TRAP ACCESSORIES, poke into the ground where tunnels are suspected. If there is no resistance felt, it is likely that one of the branched tunnels is located there. This is where the marking flags come into play. Simply mark the spots with the flags wherever there is no resistance felt. If these flags are found in the grass a few hours later, it indicates that the tunnel is inhabited and frequented. Traps should be positioned exactly at these spots.
Note: Moles are protected by law and cannot be killed. With the live trap TUBE, the animals can be captured and released in another location.
