Simply plug the compact mouse repeller into a power outlet, and it will start emitting ultrasonic sounds. You can tell it's working when the indicator light is on. The night light can be operated using the toggle switch located on the side of the device. The on/off switch does not affect the ultrasonic function; it is solely for controlling the night light. The sounds drive away mice and keep them away in the long term with continuous use. If you no longer wish to use the ultrasonic function, simply unplug it from the outlet.
