This compartment at the bottom of the lamp can be easily opened, emptied, and cleaned by turning it. However, be sure to unplug it first!

No chemicals are used to attract and kill the insects. Once the lamp is plugged in, it is ready for use. The 4-watt lamps emit UVA light that is harmless to humans and animals. The electrically charged grid is protected by a fully insulated plastic housing, preventing accidental contact.

The mosquito lamp should only be used indoors to avoid accidentally catching beneficial insects like butterflies. Ideally, the device should be hung from the mounting hook at a height of 2 meters, protecting an area of up to 20 m². The best catching results are achieved in the dark; therefore, hang the protective lamp at dusk or in a dimly lit area, such as in the hallway.
