The flanging machine is the right tool for working with sheets. Its application area is diverse, as it can produce various flanges. Flanges are channel-shaped indentations that increase the rigidity of individual parts as well as products.
With this flanging machine, sheet metal work can be carried out easily and precisely. To keep the machine in position, it is mounted on the table using a clamping collar.
The flanging machine features two rollers with a working depth of 177 mm. These have a bulged and a recessed shape, also known as positive and negative forms. They roll the channel-shaped indentations into the material.
The rollers are manually set in motion using a crank and can bend sheets up to a thickness of 0.8 mm. Depending on the desired curvature and the thickness of the material, the distance and roller angle are adjusted accordingly.
