Product details
A circle cutter is a construction consisting of a scale, in the centre of which is the device for the centre of the future circle. A drill bit suitable for the material to be processed is inserted below the scale and the cutter is connected to your own drill (not included in the scope of delivery) above it. The cutter is compatible with most machines with 10 mm (3/8") and 13 mm (1/2") drill chucks. There is a blade on the right and left of the scale, the distance between which can be individually adjusted. This distance is the subsequent cutting area.
This circular cutter combines different hole diameters in just one product. Normally, a large number of different hole saws would be required in order to have a large selection of sizes available. But with the circle cutter, you only need this one tool, as its cutting range covers diameters from 40 to 120 mm. In addition, the maximum cutting depth is 30 mm.
If a round cut-out is to be made, the diameter to be achieved is set, the drill is placed on the desired centre point, pressed down and then the drill is activated. The two blades are now set in motion and rotate around the centre point. Due to their speed, the blades cut into the material and a round cut-out is created. To prevent dust and shavings from flying around, the circular cutter is fitted with a protective cover made of ABS (plastic). The bonnet has a silicone seal so that it adheres perfectly to the surface and is dust-tight.
The circle cutter is suitable for various materials and can be used for cutting wood, masonry, drywall and ceiling tiles. The scope of delivery includes the corresponding drill bits. These include five masonry drill bits and five wood drill bits in sizes 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 mm.
