The semi-flexible modules are equipped with powerful Active Wire solar cells, which have a cell efficiency of over 20%. The Active Wire technology reduces the distances between the wires, thereby minimizing electrical losses and increasing the current flow. In the event of a cell failure, the effect remains locally contained. This innovative wire mesh guarantees a high level of reliability for the module. Additionally, due to the thinner wires, more light is captured compared to conventional surface contacts, and partial shading is minimized. This design maximizes energy yield, even in weak and diffuse lighting conditions.

The integrated aluminum plate ensures high stability of the module to meet the extreme demands in the marine sector. The modules can be optimally utilized on uneven surfaces and rounded areas of a boat. When mounted on solid ground, the EFX solar modules are also walkable. Weight savings of up to 80% are achieved compared to framed glass modules.
