The new, innovative solar modules in the EFX Active Wire series are manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines and tested and certified to ISO standards. The semi-flexible modules are fitted with the powerful Active Wire solar cells, which have a cell efficiency of over 20 %. Ideal areas of application are motorhomes, caravans (especially VW California) and marine applications. The Active Wire technology shortens the distances between the wires, thus minimising electrical losses and increasing the current flow. If a cell breakage occurs, the effect remains localised. This innovative conductor braiding guarantees a high level of module reliability. Due to the thinner wires, more light is also captured than with conventional surface contacts and partial shading is minimised. This design maximises the energy yield - even in weak and diffuse lighting conditions. The integrated aluminium plate ensures high stability of the module to meet the extreme requirements in the marine sector. The modules can be optimally utilised on uneven surfaces and rounded planes of a boat. The EFX solar modules can also be walked on when mounted on solid ground. Weight savings of up to 80 % are possible compared to framed glass modules. Due to the high quality standards of the solar modules, every step is monitored - from cell production and component assembly to the finished product.
