The housing of the Voltcraft SL-10 R sound level meter is made from 85% recycled granulate. Additionally, conventional epoxy composite material is avoided for the carrier material of the internal circuit board, opting instead for ceramic as the substrate. Technically, the SL-10 R corresponds to the previous SL-10 and allows for quick and easy sound level measurements with linear frequency weighting (dBA) using the preset parameters. It is ideal for simple measurement of environmental noise or other sound sources. Furthermore, the device features two different measurement intervals (Fast/Slow) for various applications. The color of the housing may slightly vary due to the recycled granulate.
