Product details

Detect moisture in building materials early. Particularly, wooden and stone elements are at risk of mold formation due to excessive moisture. The Voltcraft MF-80 moisture meter allows for non-destructive measurement of material moisture up to a depth of 40 mm. The applied CM method (calcium carbide method) is a recognized state of the art and the only court-approved measurement method in Germany.

Target-oriented functions for practical application. During measurement, minimum and maximum values are recorded, and if the display is not visible, the hold function allows for subsequent reading. An adjustable acoustic alarm alerts to extreme values. Additionally, the device warns of low battery power and automatically shuts off after 15 minutes of inactivity to save energy. To ensure immediate readiness for use, the delivery package includes three AAA batteries along with the Voltcraft MF-80 and a user manual.
