For high-precision and non-destructive measurement of ferrous and non-ferrous metals: The SDM-2125 thickness gauge automatically detects the substrate material and determines the layer thickness either through magnetic flux or eddy current measurement. The testing device from Voltcraft is supplied with standard accessories for thickness measurement, including a total of five probes. The SDM-2125, which weighs approximately 180 g including the battery and can store up to 500 data sets, indicates compliance with limit values via a three-color signal light (Green = within limits, Red = below limits, Yellow = above limits). Additionally, the device, which automatically shuts off after five minutes of inactivity, offers the capability to measure at a single point as well as at multiple points. The averaging algorithm from single and multi-point measurements provides even faster results, thereby accelerating the determination of layer thickness.
