Völkel Combination tool set HSS M3-10

The combination tap allows for the creation of core holes and through threads in a single operation without changing tools. A spiral drill section is located before the threading part. Only through threads with a maximum thread depth of 2 x D can be produced. These combination taps are suitable for universal use in materials of medium strength: unalloyed and alloyed steel up to 600 N/mm², ductile iron, spheroidal graphite iron, copper, brass, aluminum, aluminum-magnesium and zinc alloys, red brass, electron, and zinc die-casting. Their use is advisable on machine setups with switchable speeds for drilling and threading. The feed rate should be adjusted to the respective operations of drilling or threading. Thread cutting chucks with pressure compensation are not usable.
