The barrel is made of stable HDPE by injection moulding, which gives it high dimensional stability. It is also impact-resistant and protected against rotting. The plastic container can also be placed outdoors without hesitation, as it is weather-resistant and UV-resistant. Frost, heat and different chemicals cannot harm it either. The metal parts are also protected against rust.
