The GARANT Vap Tap Universal Taps are highly advanced tools suitable for a variety of materials. With its optimized neck and flute length, it enables effective chip evacuation, especially for deep threads. The tap is made from high-performance HSS-E cutting material, which has an increased vanadium content, resulting in improved wear resistance. The vaporized surface reduces cold welding and ensures a longer tool life. The shank is designed according to DIN 376 and is tapered, making it ideal for greater depths of application. With Form C, which includes 2 to 3 start threads, this tap is perfect for precise and reliable threading processes.
