Urmet Grothe FD-020-222 Reader code lock

The modern PK80 card reader code lock is a two-wire bus reader for short-range use, featuring blue backlit keys and a tactile marker on key five. It can be surface-mounted either on a flush-mounted box with mounting screws or directly anchored to the wall. A unique feature of the PK80 card reader code lock is its versatile usage options. It can be operated by presenting the identification medium or entering the correct code, as well as through dual authentication using both the identification medium and the code. The two LEDs on the top of the reader also serve as visual indicators and can change color to indicate granted or denied access upon presenting the identification medium. Additionally, the built-in buzzer provides an acoustic signal for granted or denied access. In the iPassan software, the LEDs can be individually managed, disabled, or reconfigured, and the same applies to the integrated buzzer. The protection ratings of IP65 and IK08 highlight its suitability for outdoor use, even in harsh conditions. With the proprietary FDI protocol, the security of the entire access control system is ensured. The reader is compatible with the IPassan controller.
