The Upat anchor rod ASTA is the most versatile accessory in chemical fastening. This threaded rod, made of galvanized steel grade 5.8, is particularly suitable for indoor fastening in a variety of building materials with all injection mortar and cartridge systems from Upat. The most economical use of the anchor rod is in combination with the UKA 3 Plus cartridge. When many fastening points are processed in succession, it is more advisable to combine it with the injection mortar cartridges. During installation with the mortar cartridge, the anchor rod is set using a rotary hammer. During the setting process, the mortar cartridge is destroyed, mixed, and activates the mortar mass. When installing with injection mortars, the threaded rod is manually pushed into the drill hole with slight twisting movements. The Upat ASTA anchor rod system is particularly commonly used for fastening support feet and steel constructions.
