Product details
Uni-T UT383 light intensity meter. It measures light intensity, also known as a luxmeter. A luxmeter is a sensor that measures the light intensity in the environment around us. Measuring light is crucial for the workplace, as it affects how quickly, safely, and comfortably workers perform tasks that require attention. Proper lighting improves well-being and productivity while reducing eye strain. Polish laws require employers to meet specific lighting standards that fit the nature of the work. Instead of outsourcing measurements, we can measure light intensity ourselves with this luxmeter.
To measure light intensity correctly, several rules must be followed. Humidity and temperature should be within the permissible limits set by the meter manufacturer. The luxmeter must be properly calibrated, and the person taking the measurement should interfere as little as possible (e.g., not standing directly in front of the light and avoiding dark clothing without reflective adornments).
The Uni-T UT383 light meter is a compact luxmeter that fits perfectly in the hand, with the measured light intensity value clearly visible on the backlit screen. The meter automatically switches off after 5 minutes to save battery.
Lux meter features include:
- Illuminated liquid crystal display
- MAX/MIN function to register maximum and minimum values
- HOLD function to keep the display
- Auto power off after 5 minutes
- Low battery indicator
- Overload notification
- Device selection
