Product details

Uni-T UT383 light intensity meter. It measures light intensity, also known as a luxmeter. A luxmeter is a sensor that measures the intensity of light in the environment. The measurement of light is crucial for the workplace as it affects how quickly, safely and comfortably workers perform tasks that require attention. Adequate lighting improves well-being and productivity and reduces eye strain. Polish laws require employers to comply with certain lighting standards appropriate to the nature of the work. Instead of outsourcing measurements, we can measure the light intensity ourselves with this luxmeter.

To measure light intensity correctly, several rules must be observed. The humidity and temperature should be within the permissible limits set by the manufacturer of the meter. The luxmeter must be properly calibrated and the person taking the measurement should intervene as little as possible (e.g. do not stand directly in front of the light and avoid dark clothing without reflective decorations).

The Uni-T UT383 light meter is a compact luxmeter that fits perfectly in the hand, with the measured light intensity value clearly displayed on the backlit screen. The meter switches off automatically after 5 minutes to save battery life.
