UCO Gear Arc
100 lmProduct details
At first glance, this is a rechargeable LED flashlight that produces intense light. Open the spring-loaded lock and you'll find a plasma lighter with a dual arc inside. The lighter and the flashlight offer two functions in one. The flashlight, with 100 lumens, features a high mode, a low mode, and an emergency strobe function. It charges via mini-USB, and both the lighter and the flashlight are equipped with an internal 340 mAh lithium-ion battery that powers the plasma lighter as well.
Unlike traditional flame lighters, the arc uses electricity as a source of ignition by allowing an electric current to flow between electrodes at the tip of the device, creating a combustion temperature of 1400 degrees. This also enables efficient and windproof lighting. Both the flashlight and the plasma lighter are operated via the same on/off switch. In flashlight mode, you can switch between high, low, and strobe modes using the on/off switch. In lighter mode, simply hold the button down to keep the flashlight on. The spring cover of the arc is easy to use, and a lock prevents the cover from opening in a pocket or container.
