Trotec Moisture Meter BM22

The robust and easily replaceable penetration steel measuring pins of the BM22 allow for a solid connection with the test material and ensure reliable measurement results when assessing the moisture content of cut and firewood or determining the moisture content in soft building materials such as gypsum, plaster, or screed.

A beam scale and the additional direct display of the moisture volume in absolute percentage values facilitate the reading of moisture measurement values. Two different scale ranges for wood and building materials enhance accuracy.

For wood moisture measurement, a calibration curve is stored in the device, corresponding to the average of the wood types relevant in Europe based on a wood temperature of 20 °C. Therefore, no further settings are necessary for a quick indication of the wood moisture content.

Switching from wood moisture mode to building moisture mode is not required for the BM22, as the measurement display occurs through two parallel displayed scale ranges for the respective material. Additionally, a reference adapter is integrated into the protective cap of the device for battery status and functionality checks.
