The wire and metal profile detector 81786 allows for detection in walls or drywall: live wires up to 50 mm and metal profiles up to 40 mm. The detector is equipped with an audio signal and two diodes that indicate material detection. It is very easy to use, and its compact dimensions of 90 x 38 x 20.5 mm and weight of 48 g make it easy to store. The detector operates on 3 x 1.5 V (LR44) batteries.
