Always ensure you have enough refills for your mosquito repellent device on hand.

All Thermacell devices use the same refills. One gas cartridge lasts up to 12 hours, and one active ingredient plate lasts up to 4 hours.

Refills can be stored for long periods. Gas cartridges and active ingredient plates do not need to be used at the same time. For example, you can use them for just one hour a day. Simply turn off the device and use it again at another time. If there is a longer interval (more than 2 days) between uses, store the active ingredient plate in an airtight package in a cool, dry place.

The synthetic active ingredient D-Trans-Allethrin belongs to the family of pyrethroids and is synthetically modeled after the natural biocide pyrethrin (derived from chrysanthemums).
