With the handy HUMIDCHECK MINI from TFA, you can easily and quickly measure the moisture content of firewood, building materials, and walls. This robust measuring device is ideal for on-site checks at construction sites or during new builds. The operation is incredibly simple – just remove the protective cap and insert the measuring electrodes into the object to be measured, and you're done. In addition to the moisture content, the temperature is also displayed. After use, the device automatically switches off. It is particularly important to measure the moisture content of firewood before using it in a wood stove. If the wood cells have over 20% moisture content, not only does the heating value decrease, but it also leads to smoke, tar, and soot formation.
