The Testo 270 frying oil tester quickly, easily, and reliably determines the quality of frying oil. It measures the amount of "Total Polar Materials" (TPM) in the oil and reports this as a percentage. If the oil is too old, it will have an increased TPM value, resulting in poor-quality fried food. Additionally, harmful substances may be present in the oil. Regular measurement with the Testo 270 prevents this. The use of the device also ensures that frying oil is not changed too early, reducing frying oil consumption by up to 20%.

Whether the quality of the frying oil is still good cannot be adequately checked by visual or odour control. With the testo 270 frying oil measuring instrument, the (system) caterer only has to change the frying oil when the critical TPM values are reached. This saves unnecessarily frequent frying oil changes and the associated costs.
