Terra B Overt Plate Carrier - Black
Product details
TERRA B Overt Plate Carrier - Black
The Overt Plate Carrier in Black is the big brother of the DPC, designed to attract a bit more attention. It is better suited for tasks that are less covert. The advantages of our OPC include a vast array of options for carrying additional equipment, as well as an impressive weight of only 557 grams and extra features, such as a quick-release mechanism for emergencies.
Features: The D-rings on the front are designed for a quick drop of the plate carrier. Pulling the ring draws the lower part of the shoulder strap forward on the selected side, thereby opening the shoulder area. Closing it again after the emergency release is straightforward. You don't have to thread a steel cable or similar, as required by other manufacturers. Simply adjust the shoulder strap to the desired length. The ability to expand with placards is also available on this plate carrier through vertical laser-cut slots in the chest area. The cummerbund, made from robust elastic polyester-rubber, is secured with Velcro, allowing it to be flexibly adjusted to fit your body size and move with you.
On the front and back, there are laser-cut MOLLE and hook-and-loop areas for attaching call signs, patches, or similar items. The inner side of the OPC is equipped on each side with two strips of hook-and-loop (measuring 3.5 cm x 17 cm) for attaching padding or, for example, a TacVent. The bottom features six rows of laser-cut MOLLE, allowing for the attachment of narrow pouches or, for instance, a tourniquet using shock cord. Ballistic plates are inserted from the top into the carrier and secured with a Velcro flap. The OPC is designed for plates measuring 30 cm x 25 cm.
