Product details
The Tecwerk DIN 338 Type N Z3 spiral drill is a high-precision tool designed for a variety of drilling tasks in different materials. With a diameter of 7 mm and a special HSS-Co (high-speed steel with cobalt) alloy, this drill offers excellent performance and durability. The drill is profile-ground and features a cylindrical shank, ensuring easy handling and compatibility with various drilling machines. The 130-degree point angle and right-hand cutting design enable precise and clean drilling, while the special geometry of the cutting edges prevents slipping and snagging when drilling into existing holes. The spiral drill is ideal for use in construction steels, unalloyed and alloyed steels up to 850 N/mm², as well as in cast materials and aluminum alloys. The three-cutting-edge design allows for higher feed rates and reduces wear, enhancing efficiency during machining.
- High-precision drilling with IT9 level due to profile-ground cutting edges
- Increased feed rates of up to 60% thanks to the 3-cutting-edge design
- Special point geometry prevents slipping and snagging
- Suitable for a variety of materials, including construction steel and aluminum alloys
- Reduced wear due to even distribution of cutting forces across three cutting edges.
