The Tecwerk machine tap DIN 5156C VA is a highly advanced tool specifically designed for machining difficult-to-cut materials such as rust-resistant, acid-resistant, and heat-resistant steels with a strength of over 850 N/mm². With its HSS-Co (High-Speed Steel with Cobalt) construction and special surface treatment through nitriding and vaporization, this tap offers excellent durability and performance. The tap is manufactured according to DIN ISO 228 and is ideally suited for blind hole threads. The precise form C and a right-hand spiral of 40° ensure efficient chip removal and high cutting quality. The shank diameter of 18 mm allows for easy handling and compatibility with common machines.
