The 3D edge finder from Tecwerk is a precise measuring instrument designed for the exact determination of workpiece zero points and drilling centers on various machines such as milling machines, drilling machines, and machining centers. With an accuracy of 0.01 mm, this edge finder allows for reliable and repeatable measurements. The probe ball has a diameter of 10 mm and is capable of closing the circuit upon contact with the workpiece, which is indicated by a fully illuminated display. Additionally, the device features a safety spring travel of 2 mm in the Z-axis to ensure safety during the measurement process. Reference angles must be measured and taken into account in a presetting device beforehand to achieve optimal results. The edge finder is supplied with a 12V battery, a serial number, and a test protocol.
