Whether you are replacing just the shock absorbers and top mounts or want to lower your vehicle with a sport or coilover suspension – this professional tool makes changing top mounts, shock absorbers, and springs safe and easy. This spring compressor is specifically designed for McPherson struts. The three interchangeable pairs of spring holders and the included spacer allow you to compress all common spring sizes and shapes. It can be driven by a ratchet or a wrench with a 21 mm socket size. Included are a pair of spring plates for the range of 80 - 110 mm, a pair of spring plates for the range of 105 - 145 mm, and a pair of spring plates for the range of 145 - 190 mm. The maximum clamping width is 300 mm. The package includes a practical carrying case, a universal McPherson spring compressor, a spacer, and three pairs of spring plates. Note: For safety reasons, this tool should only be used by trained professionals with expertise in suspensions.
