The electronic knob cylinder from TCS is an innovative solution for modern access control systems. It meets the requirements according to DIN 18252 and DIN EN 1303 and is suitable for use in PZ locks as well as on fire doors. With an IP56 protection rating, this cylinder is designed for applications in protected outdoor areas. Installation is carried out without mounting holes, simplifying handling. The cylinder can be managed locally with configuration cards and allows the registration of up to 96 keys. Identification is performed through a passive transponder in the key, which does not require an external power supply. The cylinder offers a high actuation count of up to 35,000 with a single set of batteries, making it particularly durable. Additionally, battery replacement is possible while installed, which facilitates maintenance.
