The Steinel motion and presence detector PDIR4360-24KNX-DEBsw is designed for motion detection, presence detection, and light measurement in offices, meeting rooms, passageways, and more. The 360° IR presence detectors comply with sensNORM and are ideal for sensor-based standard requirements in commercial buildings. It features a COM1, KNX, and DALI-2 IPD interface, with KNX providing 2 light outputs, including constant light control, logic gate, and additional outputs and functions such as day/night switching and sabotage protection.

The range for motion detection is Ø 8 or Ø 24 m, while the presence detector function has a detection range of Ø 6 or Ø 7.5 m. Colour-matching, plug-in cover caps are included, and it can be installed flush-mounted, surface-mounted, or on the ceiling. Setting and operation are managed via the KNX bus and ETS, with a programming mode that can be activated remotely using the Smart Remote app. Installation is made easy with a magnetic mounting bracket, and LED feedback ensures safe commissioning.
