Tungsten electrodes with perfect ignition behaviour for welding aluminium, light metals, alloyed and unalloyed steels, copper, nickel, titanium and magnesium compounds. WP electrodes are suitable for both direct current operation and, due to their high arc stability, for alternating current operation in particular. Pure tungsten electrodes are the ideal alternative to thoriated electrodes due to their long service life, good current carrying capacity and environmental compatibility.
