Product details
The Stahlwerk CTM-250 ST is a versatile 4-in-1 combination welding machine with integrated plasma cutting function. It combines TIG, MIG/MAG and MMA/E manual welding as well as plasma cutting in a compact 200 A inverter and thus covers the most important processes for workshops, assembly companies and ambitious DIY enthusiasts. Numerous welding and cutting parameters can be customised so that you can adapt the device precisely to the material, sheet thickness and work task. In MIG/MAG and cored wire mode, the CTM-250 ST processes solid and cored wire in standard diameters from 0.6 to 1.0 mm (plus 0.9 mm for cored wire) - ideal for processing mild steel, stainless steel and cored wire applications. In DC TIG mode, the inverter enables clean, low-spatter weld seams on unalloyed and high-alloy steels, stainless steel, copper or brass. This is supported by adjustable parameters such as gas feed, gas delay and current increase/decrease. Functions such as hot start and anti-stick function facilitate ignition and prevent the electrode from sticking. Thanks to VRD voltage reduction, overheating protection, intelligent cooling and a robust ST-Guard housing, the device works reliably and safely even in demanding applications. A powerful 4-roller drive ensures a reliable wire feed that transports even thicker welding wires continuously and safely during MIG/MAG welding. Despite its wide range of functions, the device is not suitable for welding aluminium. The integrated 45 A plasma cutter operates with compressed air and achieves cutting capacities of up to approx. 14 mm, depending on the material. This means that not only structural steels, but also stainless steel sheets and metals with rust film or paint can be cut cleanly. The comprehensive accessory package with MIG, TIG and CUT torches, cables and wear parts enables immediate use.
