Spyderco's popular Sage Series is a distinctive family of folding knives that uses a single design theme to showcase influential lock designs and honour their inventors. The Sage 5 is so popular that it was decided to take it a step further and offer it in a lightweight format. The injection moulded FRN scales have a bi-directional texture pattern for a non-slip grip and house interlocking skeletonised stainless steel liners, a reversible deep wire clip and a full tang ground CPM S30V blade. The Lightweight version weighs 13 per cent less than the standard Sage 5 and also features a special bushing that ensures precise pivot tension and extremely quiet running.
