The mechanical barrier is the most effective solution. The key part of the SoloDiesel cap, which reliably prevents misfuelling, comprises five safety latches that detect the diameter of the nozzle.

If you try to insert a narrower petrol nozzle into a wider diesel nozzle opening, SoloDiesel will prevent this by means of the above-mentioned safety latches and block the petrol nozzle. On the other hand, the system allows easy access to the diesel fuelling point with the correct diameter. As there is no need to unscrew and screw on the filler cap, SoloDiesel also offers fast refuelling.

The flap automatically closes the opening after refuelling and also allows proper ventilation or pressure regulation in the tank in accordance with all European standards. Of course, the entire SoloDiesel cap is manufactured according to all European standards and can replace the existing filler cap.

Comfortable refuelling. Have you ever watched Formula 1 races and noticed the quick refuelling of the race car without having to unscrew or unscrew the fuel filler cap during the short pit stops?

The SoloDiesel cap, whose main function is to prevent misfuelling with the wrong (petrol) fuel in diesel vehicles, also has a similar flap system. As soon as the petrol nozzle is inserted into the opening, the flap is removed; when the petrol nozzle is pulled out, the flap closes automatically.
