Product details

And it is not always possible to conduct radiation background measurements openly. For such cases, the engineers at Soex have developed a miniature novelty. There is nothing superfluous: two buttons, a monochrome screen, and only 20 seconds of waiting for the result. The Soex-112 is the most compact household dosimeter in the Soex line. Its dimensions are comparable to those of a ballpoint pen, and the modern design will also appeal to an aesthetic. But do not underestimate this tiny device: its core is a sensitive and proven sensor, the SBM 20-1. It is capable of detecting gamma radiation energy of 0.1 Mega-electronvolts. The warning threshold for the device can be set by the user, starting from a radiation level of 0.3 microsieverts per hour. The Soex-112 dosimeter detects beta and gamma particles as well as X-rays. The device is considered a household dosimeter, although its accuracy is comparable to professional models. It can be used over a wide temperature range. For 100 hours of continuous operation, the Soex-112 dosimeter requires only two tiny LR44 alkaline batteries. Checking background radiation has never been so easy. The user interface of the Soex-112 is also understandable for an inexperienced user, and the manual included with the device describes the measurement rules in detail.
