Simplex Soft-face mallet with cast steel housing and wooden handle, Ø 40, superplastic / soft metal

The SIMPLEX series 3079 features a combination of super plastic and soft metal inserts.

The super plastic insert (series 3207) is a medium-hard plastic insert made from extruded, extremely homogeneous material. Compared to injection-molded plastic inserts, it is significantly more wear-resistant and durable.

The silver-colored soft metal insert (series 3209) is made of aluminum and is hard, heat-resistant, and replaces a traditional lead hammer.

The housing is made of ductile cast iron and has an integrated handle protection sleeve that ensures high break resistance.

The high-quality, vibration-damping, ergonomically shaped wooden handle is double-coated in the grip area, making it resistant to dirt.

According to the clever SIMPLEX principle, all components are interchangeable and retrofittable. This not only saves money but also resources.

This version is available in sizes from D30mm to D80mm, as well as in a sledgehammer variant.
