The hard-facing shielding gas welding wire MSG6-60 from Schweisskraft is a high-quality product specifically designed for hardfacing on wear-stressed machine parts. With an alloy that offers high toughness and abrasion resistance, this welding wire is ideal for applications in the construction and mechanical engineering industries. It is commonly used for excavator parts, conveyor screws, roller crushers, impact hammers, as well as for rolls and running surfaces. The welding wire has a Vickers hardness of 650 to 775 HV and a Rockwell hardness of 56 to 62 HR, making it particularly robust. The wire is supplied in a spool with a weight of 15 kg and has a diameter of 1.6 mm. The use of argon or mixed gases as shielding gas ensures optimal weld seam quality.
